✨✨Hello Friends✨✨
Thank you for taking a moment to read my story. I am asking the community for a collective “Creative Healing Arts Grant”to get back in the groove after a long healing journey, and to help fund my next creative endeavor.
Here’s what happened….
Back in February I hadn’t been feeling well. I was fasting, and I ended up fainting. I fell straight backwards and my head went through the drywall before hitting the floor. I woke up spinning with bad vertigo. So, for the past 5 plus months, I have been healing from Post-Concussion syndrome, aka a traumatic brain injury as well as a neck injury. It has come with dizziness and disequilibrium… the vertigo thankfully went away after several cranial adjustments. After a neck adjustment, my body didn’t respond well, and it caused me to have severe insomnia and neck pain. This then Brought on the disequilibrium, a crazy sensation of constant motion in the body like being out on a boat!
I have come a long way in the healing process. I am so fortunate to have not been effected cognitively in any way. It has effected me physically as well as my nervous system being on overdrive. If anyone has experienced a head injury, you know how startling it is, and how it takes time to heal. I am finally getting NUCCA to address my neck alignment and Cranial Sacral Therapy to address my dizziness.
My husband has been super amazing, and has stayed by my side throughout this experience. He took off much time of work to do so. My personal nest egg dried up. I have been working with an incredible team of alternative healers, such as homeopathy, acupuncture, cranial sacral, NUCCA and Naturalpathic medicine. These services are profound, yet quite expensive for the ongoing care I have needed. My insurance has paid for the MRI’s and emergency room costs thankfully.
I hopped off social media for several months, which impacted my visibility and Instagram momentum, which has been my primary way of selling online. It appears that it’s a slow time for many as we all are being impacted by the current events.
This time has brought some deep gifts and visions, as healing crisis’ often do, (I imagine)
I have begun to put together my book, which is a retrospective of the past 17 years with the magical tale that has been whispered in my ear for so so long! I am celebrating because I have accomplished my first painting since my injury. This is the final painting for the book!! “Arianna and the Golden Ankor”. ✨✨✨
