We are reaching out as the family of Linda and Charlie Young, hoping to rally support for our parents during an incredibly difficult time. Just a few days ago our mother Linda, suffered a major seizure and is now in the ICU. There’s still a lot of uncertainty about what caused it, and while she’s slowly becoming more stable, we know that her recovery will be a long and challenging journey. Our dad Charlie is by her side every day, but he is unable to work right now due to the constant care required. Our parents recently moved from Vermont to Alabama, looking forward to a new chapter. Instead, they’re now facing overwhelming medical bills, travel expenses, and daily living costs, all while trying to support each other through this crisis. The road ahead will include not just her hospital stay, but also rehabilitation and ongoing care once she’s able to come home.
