Lilleona was born at home 17 weeks early in August 2025, with her original due date set for December 15th, 2025. The sudden and early arrival meant that both Lilleona and her mom faced immediate and critical challenges. After a rushed ambulance ride to the hospital in Eau Claire, WI, doctors worked quickly to cut the umbilical cord and connect Lilleona to life-saving machines. She was then life-flighted to Rochester, MN, where she has remained in the hospital since the day she was born, fighting bravely every day.

Throughout this journey, Lilleona's mom has been by her side, unable to work for the past six months in order to care for her daughter. The father left just four days after learning about the pregnancy, leaving mom to navigate this new chapter alone. With no time to save for maternity leave or gather the essentials for Lilleona’s arrival, the family is now facing significant financial strain. Every day is focused on Lilleona’s recovery and well-being, but the mounting expenses make this already difficult time even harder.
