Hi, my name is Deby, and I am asking for help during a very difficult time. My son’s father requires life-sustaining dialysis treatments three times a week. The nearest dialysis center is over an hour away, which means 6 hours or more of driving every week—and gas prices are insane right now.

Our son has stepped up, and once his dad is released from the hospital, he will make sure he gets to every appointment. These long trips are necessary, but the cost of gas, vehicle wear and tear, and time away from work and daily responsibilities is going to quickly add up. Dialysis is necessary, and missing treatments is not an option.

I am raising funds to help cover:

• Gas for three round trips each week

• Vehicle maintenance from frequent long-distance driving

• Meals and essentials on treatment days

• Unexpected medical or travel-related expenses
