My name is Dayana Valencia my family and I are creating this go fund me unfortunately for my grandmothers passing we hate to ask for help but this was so sudden and came out of no where we were not ready for this and no one ever is, my grandmother Lidia Marina Castellanos Rodríguez was a beautiful person someone full of life and loved by many, she wasn’t sick all we took her to the hospital for was her diabetes was a bit out of control and liquid retention her legs had got swollen and they took fluid out so her legs got a little weak they ended up sending her to a rehabilitation center just for physical that was it, unfortunately she started just getting bad while being there she was very dehydrated I kept telling then she wasnt ok anymore but they just kept saying she was fine just confused my family and I would go try and feed her have her drink water and she would, Thursday march 26th 2026 she finally got and IV to be able to hydrate her, Saturday she looked fine again and she ate good unfortunately they took her iv out that morning they didn’t keep hydrating her seeing her situation that she was having a hard time even grabbing her water bottle Monday march 30th 2026 I saw her for the last time I told them again she wasnt doing ok that this wasn’t like her anymore they ended up ordering some blood cultures they took 4 small bottles of blood and a tube out around 8 pm that night I left home to get some sleep to be able to work the next day she was suppose to come back home march 31st unfortunately she didn’t make it, less than an hour later I was getting a call that she wasn’t responding that 911 was called I received the last call it was 10:25 pm time of death, it’s the most painful call ever, we know her beautiful soul is now resting we will always love her so much and donations would be greatly appreciated in these difficult times donations will be used for her funeral and for her wishes to travel back home to her country her final resting place (Guatemala).
