UPDATED FINANCIAL SUPPORT

We are trying to raise ongoing financial support for refugees in East Africa. Thanks to the generosity of folk, all forty refugees were rehoused.

Now we need to raise $3 a day per person to ensure that everyone is fed, watered, and receives any necessary medical care.

I have updated the fundraising amount and kindly ask people to continue donating to ensure that the following costs are met:

1. FOOD

2. CLEAN WATER

3. ONGOING MEDICAL CARE (HIV medications primarily)

4. HYGIENE PRODUCTS (tampons, sanitary pads, etc)

5. CONTINGENCY (to ensure that any emergency costs can be covered)

The situation is very precarious, and without ongoing institutional support, it's difficult to ensure people's safety.

With your support, however, we can ensure that Noel and his group can survive the difficult circumstances.

EMERGENCY FINANCIAL SUPPORT

I am trying to raise as much money as possible in the next 5 days!

There are currently over 100 LGBT and Queer refugees who are being forcibly expelled from Gorom Refugee Camp and urgently need financial assistance to relocate.

The authorities in Gorom Refugee Camp have decided that the LGBT and queer population are no longer welcome there and are ordering them to leave the camp, peacefully or by force.

The authorities are not providing any alternatives and will forcibly evict people if they do not leave.

The deadline to leave is today (26th May 2025). Without financial support, queer people, including women and their children, will be destitute.

In a country in the middle of civil war, with rebel groups committing random acts of violence, this puts people's lives in immediate danger.
