Our sweet girl Lexus’ life changed in an instant.

Recently, she was attacked unexpectedly, and the injuries were severe. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where we learned she would need immediate surgery to remove her eye in order to save her life and prevent further infection and pain.

No pet parent is ever prepared to hear that their dog needs emergency surgery. In a matter of hours, we were faced with a heartbreaking decision, but there was no question. We chose to do whatever it took to keep her safe and give her the chance to heal.

The surgery was successful, and we are beyond grateful that she is still with us. She is already showing her strength and resilience, adjusting to her new normal with so much courage. Dogs are incredibly brave, and she proves that every day.

Unfortunately, the emergency surgery, hospital stay, medications, and follow-up visits have created an unexpected financial burden. The total cost has been more than we could have planned for, and we are asking for help during this difficult time.
