Support for Levi Nelson’s Cancer Fight
Donation protected
On May 31st, my father-in-law, Levi Nelson, and his wife, Roni, went to the emergency room after weeks of unrelenting pain that Levi could no longer manage at home. The doctors acted quickly and ordered a CT scan — something we were hopeful might bring answers and relief.
What they found was devastating: not one, but two tumors. Levi was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has already spread to his liver. This was completely unexpected, especially after being told just weeks earlier that his pain was due to a fractured T-12 vertebra. We all believed that was the source of his suffering.
Unfortunately, the cancer is advanced. Levi is now unable to work, and his condition is expected to continue declining.
For years, Levi and Roni have worked tirelessly to stay afloat, especially after the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of their eldest son less than two years ago. They’ve been living paycheck to paycheck, doing everything they can just to meet basic needs. With Levi now unable to work, Roni is left to shoulder the full weight of household and medical expenses alone.
If you're able to donate, your support would mean the world to them. And if a donation isn’t possible, we kindly ask that you share Levi’s story. Getting the word out is just as valuable.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
