Support for Leonel's Family and Daughter's Recovery
$160 raised of
My name is Wendy Maxson, and I am reaching out to ask for support for my cousin, Leonel Pavon, and our family during an unimaginable and heartbreaking time.
I recently received the devastating news that my cousin Leonel was tragically murdered. Alongside the grief of losing Leonel, our family is facing another heartbreaking reality: his daughter, Enelsy Pavon, is currently in critical condition in the hospital, fighting for her life.
Leonel leaves behind his loving wife, his daughter, his mother, and many other family members and loved ones who are now trying to navigate this unimaginable loss. His family never expected to have to say goodbye to him this way, and the suddenness of this tragedy has left everyone heartbroken.
Our family is doing everything we can to support Leonel’s daughter and honor Leonel during this incredibly difficult time. Unfortunately, this unexpected loss has also brought financial burdens that his family was not prepared for, including funeral and burial expenses, hospital and medical expenses, transportation, and other costs that may arise as we navigate this tragedy.
Leonel was a beloved husband, father, son, cousin, and friend. His life meant so much to the people who knew and loved him. While our family mourns his loss, we are also holding onto hope and praying for his daughter as she continues to fight for her life.
I am creating this fundraiser to help relieve some of the financial burden from Leonel’s family so they can focus on grieving, supporting his daughter, and being together during this incredibly difficult time.
All proceeds raised will be sent directly to Leonel’s mother, Irma Pavon, who resides in Honduras, or to his wife, Luz Marina Aviles, to help with funeral expenses, medical and hospital-related expenses, and other necessary costs resulting from this tragedy.
Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community would be an incredible way to help us reach more people.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read Leonel’s story, for keeping his wife, daughter, mother, and entire family in your thoughts and prayers, and for supporting us during this heartbreaking time.
With love and gratitude,
Wendy Maxson
On behalf of the Pavon family
