On Saturday, August 16th, my dad Leo LaFlesh suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Thanks to the quick actions of first responders, he was revived and spent two days on a breathing tube. We are incredibly grateful that he is still with us, but the road ahead is challenging. Leo now has a defibrillator and is experiencing some memory loss. As the sole provider , his absence from work has left him facing uncertainty. My mom is disabled and unable to work, which makes this situation even more difficult for him.
Leo owns a local cigar shop and is known for his generosity and kindness—he’s the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He’s always been there for others, and now he needs help from the community he’s supported for so long. With medical bills piling up, rent due, and everyday expenses like food and household needs, we’re struggling to keep up while Leo recovers. His recovery will take a long period of time, and we want to ease his stress so he can focus on healing.
We’re asking for support to help cover medical bills, rent, food, and other household expenses during this difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference for our family. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
