One2Boxing Westside Boxing Club is seeking donations to support the family of professional boxer Lemuel Silisia, who tragically passed away July 10th 2024.

About Lemuel Silisia
Lemuel was more than a boxer. He was a loving son, a devoted brother, a father-to-be, a cherished friend, and a mentor to many. His kindness and generosity were boundless, always ready to help, offer encouragement, and stand by those in need. His smile could light up a room, and he had a unique gift for making everyone feel valued, welcomed and appreciated.
After losing his father a few years ago, Lemuel moved to Tamworth in Australia, to work full-time at Teys. He grew to love Tamworth, as evidenced by his post-fight speech "Thank you to my work for bringing me over here to Tamworth, this lovely town, this beautiful country town. I love Tamworth. I want to stay here."
Lemuel worked tirelessly to support himself in Australia while also sending money back home to his family and village in the Solomon Islands, ensuring they were well cared for.
Lemuel's Dedication and Vision
Lemuel was a man of faith who used his God-given boxing talents to inspire others. He was a true champion in sport and life. While he was committed to being the best in boxing, his true passion was using the sport as a platform for positive change. As Lemuel once said, "You can sing, you can dance, and you can preach in your way of ministering the faith. To me, the boxing ring is my platform to minister."
The outpouring of love since Lemuel's passing is a testament to the countless lives he touched and inspired. Thousands have taken to social media to express their grief and admiration for this remarkable individual.
Continuing Lemuel's Legacy
Lemuel's life was about more than boxing. He was a mentor and role model who showed through his actions that family and friends are the most important things in life. He believed in the power of boxing to inspire and improve lives and communities. Lemuel's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and inspiration.
Let’s come together to honour Lemuel’s memory and ensure we can give financial support to his soon-to-be-born child and his family back home in the Solomon Islands.
Please join us in continuing Lemuel’s legacy. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
