Our baby sister Leiloni Twinn, who is only 19 years old, was hit by a truck while riding as a passenger on a Lime bicycle in Seattle. The fire department found her underneath the vehicle, and she has suffered a traumatic brain injury. She also suffered a stroke and a pulmonary embolism. The doctors initially did not know if she was going to make it.

They had to insert a bolt into her head to monitor the bleeding and swelling. She has had to relearn how to move a lot of her muscles. Leiloni had multiple broken bones. They put her whole leg back together and repaired her arm. Her pelvis remains broken. She is in a lot of pain.

Our family is devastated and has been by her side daily. She needs a lot of assistance, since she is not able to move around on her own. She spent a month in the hospital, and she is now in an intensive nursing facility. She will remain here for approximately 2 months.

 We do not know how to ask for help, but we are very much in need. The funds raised will help cover medical bills, support for Leiloni, support for our family, and creating a hospital room at home when she is able to transition back. We will need a hospital bed, an electric wheelchair, wheelchair ramps, and a hoist to lift her in the wheelchair. Plus many medical supplies.

 We ask that you keep praying and don’t stop. Leiloni had an encounter with Jesus and was given the choice if she wanted to come back to us. God saved our sisters life
