Kameron's family was hiking with some friends and came to the end of the trail. As they were making a plan to head to the pool, they heard a crack and a split second later a tree fell onto the group. Leila and Derick were directly hit. Leila has broken bones in her legs, ribs, scapula, and her back is broken in 12 places with some of it being severe. Leila will be undergoing spinal surgery to start, as soon as possible. She is currently in the ICU. Derick has a broken forearm, clavicle, leg, and ribs. He is in a lot of pain and awaiting word on when his surgery will be. Please keep Kameron's family in your thoughts and prayers. The kids were looking forward to a Bahamas vacation in three weeks, a river trip, and a fun summer together. Instead of a birthday celebration, they're at the hospital fighting for Leila. They will be in the hospital for weeks and recovery is a long and uncertain road. Please pray that this surgery goes well.
