Support for LeighAnn and Family
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Taylor, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my family during what has been the most devastating moment of our lives.
On Friday afternoon, our beloved mom, LeighAnn Lee, suffered a severe stroke—a worst-case scenario diagnosis. She is currently in the ICU and we have been told that she no longer has any brain function. We are completely heartbroken.
While we are clinging to each other and praying for peace, we are also faced with the reality of what comes next. This fundraiser is not just for medical expenses—it is for the months and years ahead as we begin to adjust to life without our mom.
Our family will now be surviving off of one income, and we’re looking at major life changes—monthly bills, basic needs, and future expenses like college for my two younger sisters. We’ve always been the kind of family that tries to do things on our own, and if you know us, you know we don’t ask for anything of anyone.
If you are able to give anything—no matter how small—we would be deeply grateful. And if you’re not in a place to give, we ask simply for your prayers and love. We feel every one of them.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support during this unimaginable time.
A little bit about my mom, LeighAnn.
My mom is the strongest person I know. I’m fully aware that that is said about a lot of people, but really, she is. She put everyone’s needs before hers and always overcompensates for people. She is generous, kind, hardworking and most of all giving. And in her final act of giving, she will be donating her organs. Hopefully, she will help relieve some of the families from the heartache and grief we are experiencing right now. She was so young and was in perfect health until Friday afternoon; this just goes to show that you never know when your world could be turned upside down. So please, if you still have your mom with you today, hug her extra tight and ask her every single question you have ever wanted to know the answer to. She is so, so loved, and we are truly blessed to have known her even though we wish we had more time. Life is so short.
With love,
