Hi everyone,

I’m starting this GoFundMe for my dad, whose house was recently significantly damaged in a fire. Thankfully, he wasn’t inside when it started, and he’s safe—but the damage to his home is extensive. The ceiling has collapsed in parts, some of the walls are burned down, and firefighters had to cut a hole in the roof to stop the spread. Everything inside is covered in thick soot and smoke damage.

We’re still waiting to find out what insurance will cover, but there are already a lot of immediate needs. This fundraiser is just to help ease some of the financial stress in the meantime—things like cleanup, temporary living expenses, basic necessities, and whatever else comes up unexpectedly.

My fiancée Jackie and I have offered for him to stay with us, and we’re hopeful he’ll be able to come our way soon. He’s been through a lot over the past few years, and this has been incredibly difficult for him.
