Hello, my name is Kayla. I’m writing this on behalf of my sister, Leah, and beautiful nephew Jack.

As all of you know, the world lost an incredible man. A Marine, a husband, a father, son, brother, and friend. John Thompson, aka JT, left us all too soon. A devout Marine, through and through, John lived and breathed the Marine Corp. He held his brothers so close to his heart. The amount of love he had for his four children: Erin, Emily, Johnny, and baby Jack, was insurmountable. John loved his wife, Leah, with all he had. He made her laugh, and the two of them had an unspeakable bond. If you knew John, you knew his laugh, his loud voice, and his soft, kind soul. His legacy will live on in all of us, especially his children.

With such an unexpected tragedy, his wife, Leah, is left with funeral expenses and other needs in the foreseeable future. I am setting up this fund for all of you who have asked how to help. Anything is appreciated. And, if not, please continue to send prayers, messages, and stories of John. Leah has been feeling all of your love, near and far, and it has helped her tremendously.
