With my partner, Nelson, currently in jail, I’ve found myself responsible for every bill and daily need for myself and our daughters. Anyone who has met Nelson, knows that is a good person who never deserved for this to happen. His best friend is waiting for him to play golf on a weekend, just as much as I’m waiting for him to finally be home and be a family once again. We all miss him deeply, and it’s hard to see our lives put on hold while we wait for things to get better.
