My name is Rina. Tragically, on December 26, we lost a beloved mother, grandmother and a best friend all in one . For the past 14 years, she had been courageously fighting for her life while undergoing dialysis and managing multiple health complications. On December 1, as she was preparing to leave for her dialysis appointment, her hip suddenly gave out and she fell hard onto the bathroom floor. One week later, she underwent hip surgery, which was initially considered successful. However, she developed a pressure wound during her recovery. Despite our concerns that she was not medically ready, she was discharged approximately one week later. We were informed that the hospital needed additional space and beds for incoming patients. Four days after her discharge, we called an ambulance because she was in severe pain and needed to return to the hospital. About an hour later, she suffered a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest. Her heart stopped for approximately 30 minutes before it was revived. Doctors informed us that she was placed in the ICU on life support. On the third day in the ICU, my sister, other family members, and I visited her. She appeared to be doing well—she was responsive, moving her head slightly, and squeezing my hand. I kissed my mother and told her I loved her, not knowing that this would be the last time she would hear our voices. On the fourth day in the ICU, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the hospital contacted my sister to inform us that our mother had passed away .
We are seeking assistance to help lay our beloved mother to rest, and any support during this difficult time would be deeply appreciated thank you & have a blessed day
