Support for Lawren's Family and Children

Lawren "Ladi" Lanetta Mitchell was a beautiful, vibrant 22 year-old woman, and a mother of two. Her life ended too soon when she was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend. She was yet another victim of gun violence, at the hands of an abusive partner she was trying to escape from.
Her son Shontrez (called "buddy" by his family) is 1 year and 4 months old, and her newborn daughter, Khamory Mitchell, just joined the world in April. In the face of this unspeakable sadness, we need to come together to support her family as they navigate this loss.
What the money will go towards:
--Funeral and burial costs so that Lawren can get the rest she deserves (on average this costs a family $6000)
--Care of Lawren's two small children. Including: clothing, childcare, toys
Other ways you can help:
Lawren's family has some immediate needs to care for Shontrez such as:
--clothing, shoes, and diapers (2T, will need 3T soon, shoes size 6, diapers size 6)
--any toddler toys (he currently doesn't have any)
--baby gates and cabinet locks
--baby Khamory has most of what she needs, but wipes and size 1 diapers are a constant necessity

We need to raise as much as possible, so that Lawren's family can get through these hard times without the extra weight of these unexpected costs. They need funds for a funeral service and burial ASAP, and all remaining money will go towards the needs of her children.
This fundraiser is organized on behalf of Ladi's older brother, Lawrence--my best friend. All funds will go directly to his family who is handling funeral costs and currently caring for Shontrez.
