On May 17th, 2026, our beautiful friend Lauryn Akey lost her life in a wrong-way accident. In an instant, her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her were left heartbroken and devastated by this unimaginable loss.

Lauryn was a bright light in so many lives. She was a straight A student- known for her beautiful smile, outgoing personality, and had a plan of becoming a nurse. Her absence leaves a pain that words cannot express. As her family navigates this incredibly difficult time, we want to come together to support them in any way we can.

We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden that comes with a sudden tragedy and helping her family during the difficult days ahead. No family should have to carry this weight alone while grieving the loss of someone so deeply loved.
