Support for Lauren Mincey Hassett

Hi, my name is Leah (Mincey) Jones, and I am fundraising on behalf of my sister Lauren Mincey Hassett and her family. Lauren had been experiencing ongoing and worsening back pain for many months. She was taken to REX hospital's Emergency Room on Monday, October 23rd, where doctors found a tumor on her lumbar spine. Unfortunately, further workup revealed metastatic cancer (likely stage 4). She has already undergone surgery to remove the tumor on her spine in hopes of alleviating some of her pain. The road ahead will consist of finding more answers and hopefully the best possible treatment.

Lauren married her amazing husband Mike back in 2019, and they welcomed their baby girl Ella in March of 2022.

The road ahead is still not fully known, but we are grateful and hopeful in the care being provided by her oncology team at REX.

The funds raised will be used to cover unexpected medical costs and other necessities for her family since Lauren will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Every amount helps! Thank you!
