It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that I share the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved Father, Jeffrey Mitchell, on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Losing my Dad so unexpectedly has left me with a broken heart, and a sense of emptiness that seems beyond repair.

My Dad was a fun, loving, caring, and hardworking individual. He found joy working in IT and excelled on various projects and drove for Uber on the side. He was a man of integrity, a source of wisdom, and resilience. He loved the Beatles, music, and guitar. His love for New York Pizza inspired him to create a local Pizza meetup group where they sampled different pizza restaurants all over Colorado.

As a stay-at-home Dad, he was my best friend, my teacher, and my guide to the world while growing up. Special moments such as playing Rummy at restaurants, teaching me how to drive, and applying for my first job are the memories that will be forever imprinted on my heart. His love for dog's, specifically poodles, displayed how gentle he truly was both inside and out. He was one of a kind with his humor, and he was always there whenever anyone needed him. When he loved you, he loved you hard and with his full soul. I miss him incredibly so much.

He always had the strength to get up and keep going, which is why his sudden death is extremely shocking.

We are facing overwhelming costs attributed from his death.

Funds will go directly towards funeral costs, memorial arrangements, burial costs, finalizing his estate and will help support me via counseling and processing my grief from this traumatic event.
