Support for Laure and Her Family

Friends-

 

As many of you may know, our good friend and/or colleague, Laure, has been through a unimaginably difficult time over the last several weeks.

 

Her family was thrust into a completely unexpected situation, as her bright and kind son was the victim of an incident while attending school.  After multiple, extensive medical procedures, and a lengthy hospital stay, we are happy to report that her son is now recovering at home and is making monumental progress each day.  His road to a full recovery will be a lengthy one, but like his mom, he is resilient and we look forward to the day soon when he can return to the normal life of a kid his age.

 

Many of you have reached out to see how you can help.  Although Laure initially declined multiple requests by friends and colleagues to start any sort of fund, we’ve insisted.  The upfront medical expenses, continuing rehabilitation, home-schooling, etc. must be adding up quickly, and we just want to offer Laure as much support as we can.
