Laura is a beautiful soul who cares deeply for her family. She adores her husband Will and their two sons, Cruz (11) and Bodhi (9). Together, Laura and Will have built a loving home in Morgan Hill, California, where they’ve nurtured their boys among a wonderful community. For those who may not know, Laura and Will share a passion for professional photography, capturing special moments for families throughout the Bay Area and across the United States.

Recently, Laura underwent heart surgery that became unexpectedly complicated while she was on the surgical table. What was supposed to be a two-hour procedure turned into seven hours, requiring multiple blood transfusions and extended time on heart bypass. Thanks to the incredible hospital staff, Laura’s resilience, and the well wishes from so many, she pulled through. However, due to the complications and length of the surgery, Laura’s kidneys have not been working as they should, and she now requires dialysis every other day. While her heart has been repaired and she is working hard to get stronger, her doctors say kidney recovery may take months.

Both Laura and Will are self-employed, and this situation has placed a significant financial strain on their family. The funds raised will help relieve Laura’s stress about not being able to work in the field she loves, allow Will to provide the long-term care Laura may need, and ensure that Cruz and Bodhi continue to be nurtured and supported during this challenging time. The Sundquist family is so thankful for the outpouring of support they’ve already received and would be humbled and eternally grateful for any help to ease their financial burden as Laura continues her recovery.
