Support for Laura's Medical Bills

My name is Hailey Turner and my amazing mom Laura was recently diagnosed with Chronic Microvascular Ischemic Disease. It is a tightening of blood vessels to the brain causing memory loss, speech impediment, dizziness, seizures, and depression. If left untreated it can lead to heart attack, stroke, and dementia. This disease can be found in both healthy people and those with chronic health issues, and is usually found in much older adults. Because of her good health and age, her doctors are unsure as to what series of events triggered such a sudden and prominent case. After losing both of her jobs in the pandemic, she has been unable to find work since her diagnosis and is really struggling financially. Months of tests, appointments, and E.R. visits due to seizures have drowned my mom in medical bills. And now that she is working with her doctors to find medications that will help regulate her condition, she is unsure she will be able to even afford what she needs.
