Support for Latoya Jewell and The ALJ Foundation in Memory of Antonio “AJ” Jewell
Gladiator Nation,
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Antonio “AJ” Jewell, a cherished member of the Clarke Central High School Class of 2022. AJ tragically lost his life following an incident in our community, leaving all who knew him in deep grief.
AJ was a proud Gladiator—an athlete, a teammate, and a young man who brought heart, dedication, and kindness to everything he did. His energy was contagious, his spirit unforgettable, and his presence made our community stronger. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments, but for the light he shared with everyone around him.
As we gather in this time of profound loss, we ask for your support for his mother, Mrs. Latoya Jewell, and for the ALJ Foundation, an organization she created after the tragic and premature loss of her husband, AJ’s father. AJ’s passing further underscores the urgent need to uplift the ALJ Foundation’s mission to end gun violence and to provide positive, empowering outlets for the youth in our community. The emotional and financial burdens following such a tragedy are overwhelming, and any contribution—no matter the size—will help provide stability, support, and the means to continue uplifting others in AJ’s name.
Your donation will go directly toward:
Supporting Mrs. Latoya Jewell and the Jewell family during this difficult time
Assisting with memorial and related expenses
Strengthening the mission of The ALJ Foundation, which will carry forward AJ’s legacy of perseverance, community, and love
Please keep the Jewell family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
Once a Gladiator, always a Gladiator.
Thank you for standing with the Jewell family and helping ensure AJ’s legacy continues to inspire others.
