My name is Tonia, and I am reaching out on behalf of my husband, Larry (Butch) Richardson. Recently, Larry traveled to Florida to visit some of his old friends during vacation. While staying at a friend's house, he found himself in an unfamiliar environment. One night, as he got up in the dark, he lost his balance and tripped, falling face-first onto a solid metal coffee table. The impact was devastating Larry suffered such a severe injury to his eye that he needed emergency enucleation surgery to remove his eyeball.
This accident has brought on a wave of unexpected challenges for us. We are now struggling to keep up with mounting medical bills, rent, utilities, food, gas, and the cost of medical supplies for Larry’s post-op care. The emotional toll has been heavy, and we may need therapy to help us cope with everything that has happened. It’s a very difficult time, and we are doing our best to stay strong for each other.
We would greatly appreciate any help you can give through this very difficult time in our lives. I would personally like to thank everyone for your support and help. It's very difficult for us to ask for help, and every little bit helps. We have love and respect for our family, friends, our IATSE local #7 stagehand family, and neighbors. Much love and respect! Thank you all from our hearts!
Butch & Tonia.
