Tristin Blackwood was a kind-hearted, hardworking man who was deeply loved and appreciated by his friends and family. He treated everyone around him like family and absolutely adored his wife, Lariza. Everything he did was for her, and together they had just begun their life as a married couple, having tied the knot in June 2025. After spending time long distance, Lariza made the brave decision to move from the Philippines to the US to start a new chapter with Tristin. He was working hard to save money so they could move into their first apartment together and build a future filled with hope and love. Tristin wanted nothing more than to provide a good life for his wife, who had left everything behind to be with him.

Tragically, on the night of November 24, 2025, Tristin was on his way home from work when he was involved in a car accident that took his life. The loss has left Lariza not only grieving the love of her life, but also facing the overwhelming challenges of being far from her family and support system. She is now navigating this heartbreaking time with only her friends by her side in a new country.

Lariza is currently unable to work and provide for herself as she is still waiting for her green card and work permit to process. This has made her situation even more difficult, as she has no immediate family here to support her.
