Lanier is a husband, devoted dad, grandpa, and dog dad, who was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and is now beginning the next steps of scans, testing, and treatment.

Lanier is retired, a lifelong car and motorcycle enthusiast, has the biggest soft spot for his dogs, and enjoys the simple things in life. He has always carried himself with strength, independence, and pride, so asking for help does not come easily. But as this journey begins, the medical expenses ahead have been adding up quickly, especially when much of the care must be paid for out of pocket.
