Mr. Lane Shaw is a hardworking family man who has always put his loved ones and community first. In 2024, Lane was hit hard by a diagnosis that no one ever wants to hear: stage 4 cancer. This devastating news has turned life upside down for Lane, his devoted wife, and his daughter Melissa, who are now his sole caretakers. Lane is currently home on hospice, surrounded by the family who loves him dearly and doing their best to care for the man who has always cared for them.

The journey through cancer is never easy, and the emotional and financial toll can be overwhelming. Lane’s family is facing mounting medical bills, the costs of hospice care, and daily living expenses, all while focusing on making Lane as comfortable as possible. Melissa and her mother are giving everything they have to support Lane, but they can’t do it alone.
