Our daughter Lainie is currently fighting a severe case of COVID. Her temperature keeps dropping to dangerous levels—sometimes as low as 94 degrees—and her condition became so serious that she had to be flown by helicopter to Lubbock. We are now on day three of her hospital stay, and every moment has been filled with worry and hope for her recovery. Doctors are still running tests to find out why her temperature keeps dropping, and we’re anxiously waiting for answers.

This experience has brought unexpected challenges for our family. The medical bills are already adding up, and Lainie's dad has had to miss work to be by her side, which has put additional strain on our finances. We are doing everything we can to support Lainie and make sure she gets the care she needs, but we can't do it alone.
