My name is Yolanda, and I am both coworker and close friend of Lailah's grandmother, Lisa Rosillo. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Lisa's son and his family after the sudden and tragic loss of their 3 year old daughter, Lailah.
While the family was at Fleming Meadows Lagoon, Don Pedro Lake, Lailah tragically drowned. What was meant to be a joyful family camping trip became an unimaginable nightmare that no parent, sibling, or grandparent should ever have to endure.
Lailah was just 3 years old. A bright, beautiful little girl whose smile brought happiness to everyone around her. She was deeply loved by her family and leaves behind an older brother, an older sister, and a baby brother, all of whom miss her beyond words. The bond they shared with Lailah can never be replaced, and the pain of losing her at such a young age is unimaginable.
Her parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family are devastated and trying to cope with a loss that no family is ever prepared for. As they navigate this heartbreaking time, they are also facing the unexpected costs of laying their precious little girl to rest.
Lisa Rosillo is my coworker and also my best friend. Watching her son and the entire family experience this tragedy has been heartbreaking. They need the love and support of their community now more than ever.
if you are able, please consider making a donation to help Lailah's funeral and memorial expenses. No gift is too small, and every act of kindness will help ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Lailah's family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for helping surround this family with love, compassion, and support as they honor the beautiful life of sweet Lailah. She will be loved forever and missed every single day.
