On September 17, about 20 Washington Post employees — specifically from the finance department, circulation drivers, and our production team — were informed by the company that they would be laid off. These people have dedicated many years to The Post, keeping things running behind the scenes and making sure newspapers reach readers' doorsteps every day. They are part of what makes this newspaper possible, and they will be greatly missed by their colleagues.
