I hope this message finds you all well, but my heart is heavy as I share some devastating news about my friend Lacey. On Tuesday at midnight, during that awful storm, a massive tree came crashing through her home, causing severe damage and making it completely unlivable. By the grace of God, Lacey and her family are all safe and unharmed, but they’ve lost their home and most of their possessions in the blink of an eye. It’s heartbreaking to even think about.

Right now, Lacey and her family are staying with her mother while they figure out next steps. On top of this tragedy, Lacey is still recovering from some medical challenges, which means she’s not up to cooking meals or handling the usual day-to-day care for her two young boys. She could truly use every bit of support from those of us who love her and know what an amazing person she is, and anyone this story might touch.

I’m starting a collection pool for funds to support her family during this tough time To help ease the immediate burden. These funds will focus solely on uncovered costs, gaps in coverage, and living expenses for Lacey and her family.
