On August 21, 2026, our family tragically lost our beloved La’bresha Kirtz ,29 years old. She was fatally struck by an Amtrak train. She was attempting to cross the tracks ahead of the approaching train. Tragically, La’bresha passed away at the scene.

Like many people, La’bresha experienced both beautiful moments and difficult seasons in her life. Mental health challenges were part of her journey, but they never defined her. She was so much more than the struggles she faced.

She leaves behind two sisters, a father, family, and countless friend who lives she has touched. This heartbreaking loss was completely unexpected, and unfortunately, La’bresha did not have a life insurance policy in place to help cover funeral and burial expenses.
