Support for Kyslev
Donation protected
Anyone who knows me for a short time will hear about Kyslev, or at least see a picture of her. Kyslev is my adored mentee. She's not just adored by me, but by my family, her friends and family, by the organization that brought us together and by anyone she comes in contact with. We have been matched for almost four years and in those four years she has become what I consider a little sister. Her heart is one of the biggest I've known (and I work in nonprofit) and right now I'm fighting for that big heart - I hope you join me.
Kyslev was brought here when she was about two years old from Mexico where she was born. It was not her choice to enter America nor was it her choice how she entered America. But she's here. She has no criminal record and she is not supported by her parents. She doesn't complain, she keeps moving forward despite many obstacles working against her. She's working on finishing high school (the first in her family) and works as a waitress at a local restaurant to support herself, as she is on her own here but sends money back to Mexico to help her mom and little sister with Down Syndrome. She's only 18 and mature beyond her years. What would it have been like for you at 18 to be on your own in a country such as ours in its current state?
She is undocumented and was taken by ICE after being pulled over and is currently being held at one of their detention centers here in Arizona. Her family and friends are working hard to get her the resources she needs to get out and continue her life here in America, where she has support and love.
We are raising money for the upcoming fees, bonds, or other money she will have to pay to either get out with a bond or with the help of a lawyer. I'm asking you - no, I'm begging you - please help us. If you can't find it in your heart to do this for Kyslev, then please do this for me. I need her.
Please donate here on GoFundMe, or I have the following options available as well for ease of donations:

Anything donated on other platforms will go to the fund here.
Anything you can spare for this incredible, loving young woman helps.
Thank you
