I’m starting this GoFundMe for my dearest mother, Kyong Cha Ganaha. She was the kindest, most loving, and compassionate person. Anyone who came in contact with her felt her energy, and she was the brightest shining positive light that touched and moved hearts.

On April 11, 2025, it was her time to go to the light and rest peacefully.

She left 2 daughters and over thousands of others who she helped change their lives with her passion for Traditional Korean Dance culture. She was part of many local communities such as Korean churches and the Korean Association of Texas. She played a major role in bringing joy to those who she taught how to do these special, unique, beautiful dances and left a lasting legacy. She was known for all the achievements, awards, and ceremonies she participated in to give back to her community the love of dance.

Our mother was involved in a serious car collision that devastated us all.

We need your help and support to take care of the funeral expenses and services to move forward with her end-of-life process.

Our goal is to be able to give her the best accommodation so that she will have an honorable service to celebrate and remember her beautiful life.

I’m so grateful to have this woman be a part of my life and raise me to be who I am today. She was the strongest woman I knew, and I’m so proud of all the wonderful lives she’s changed, including mine.
