Support for Kylie (Klever) Bishop’s Healing Journey

My name is Katie Pidge, and I’ve created this donation account on behalf of the Klever family to help ease the financial burden they are carrying as they pursue urgent, alternative cancer treatment for their daughter, Kylie.

Kylie was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in early 2024. In September, she underwent surgery to remove her thyroid and affected lymph nodes, which had extended into her chest. Following the procedure, she had radioactive iodine treatment in November and has since been working to stabilize her thyroid medication and begin the long road to healing.

However, her journey has taken an unexpected turn. Kylie’s health has not been good since the radioactive iodine treatment and continues to decline. She recently developed new and concerning lumps in her breasts, swelling in her jaw and neck and is just not able to function on the daily the way a 20 year should due to pain and exhaustion. Previously the family had been in touch with Hope4Cancer, an integrative treatment center in Mexico, but they were hoping that conventional therapies might be enough.

Now, with things progressing, they have decided to go forward with Hope4Cancer in order to help Kylie’s downward progression immediately.

Kylie and her husband, James—newlyweds in April! —are preparing to fly to Hope4Cancer on Wednesday, May 14th, after securing emergency medical passports. The full cost of treatment, which is 3 weeks inpatient and then 1 year of home treatment, is $53,500, not including travel.
