On Saturday, June 7, Kurt Heinrich of Howell, MI, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his wife, family, and friends. Kurt was a helicopter pilot for U of M Survival Flight but hadn't been able to work for several weeks due to medical issues. Kurt is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kathryn, and his 8-year-old son, Dennis. Kurt was just 46 years old.

We are raising money to help Kathryn with the unexpected cost of medical bills, funeral expenses, and to give Kathryn and Dennis some time to heal before she has to return to work. A celebration of life is being planned as well.
