Krystal Colson , my sister, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and is currently in the Vanderbilt neurosurgery ICU. She will be having a craniotomy on Thursday to address the tumor, which is located in the frontal lobe and can cause personality changes, headaches, and vision issues. This diagnosis has turned her world upside down, and she is now facing a challenging road ahead with treatment and recovery. The medical team is working hard to determine the best course of action, and every day brings new uncertainties and hopes.

Krystal has a wonderful family—a devoted husband who hasn't left her side and four beautiful children who rely on them both. The emotional and financial strain of this situation is immense. The costs of medical care, travel for treatments and follow-up appointments, and providing for the children during this time are adding up quickly. Her husband is doing everything he can to support her, but the family needs help to manage these new challenges.
