My name is Melissa Trenholm. I'm wanting to raise some funds to cover my sister's final expenses such as cremation and other expenses of hers.

Let me tell you about my sister, Kristy Arnold. She was a good person with a big heart. She and I didn't always see eye to eye on things, but I was still her little sister even if I was being a pain.

In the year 2000, she moved to North Carolina to help our brother, who was just a kid and was having seizures. While living there, she got into a relationship and had a daughter, Katherine Calebro, who's grown up to be a very smart, beautiful young woman. My sister was far from perfect, but she did the very best she could raising her. Her daughter has been doing her best to get things in order since her mom's passing all by herself. I'm very proud of her, and I know her mom is as well.

In the last few years, her health has declined. She was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure and congestive heart failure on top of other things. On Feb 23, 2026, I got the call she had passed. She has been missing work to take care of her mom's things. So, anything that is donated will be to cover final expenses such as her cremation and/or celebration of life, which will be done in June.
