On Friday, Kristin Hansen’s world changed forever. She was involved in a tragic bus crash that took the lives of both her parents and two of her sisters. Her twin sister, Kassie, survived but is now facing a long road of medical treatments and surgeries, three hours away from home. In the midst of this heartbreak, Kristin and Kassie are now the pillars of strength for their family, being there to support 11 nieces and nephews who, while they still have their dads, are grieving the loss of their moms.

Kristin is recovering from her own physical injuries and will be unable to work for some time. She will need to travel back and forth to be with Kassie during her surgeries, all while supporting the children through unimaginable loss. The financial burden of travel, medical expenses, and daily needs for the kids is overwhelming, but the love and resilience of this family shines through every challenge.
