It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that our dear friend, Kristie Shillings, recently experienced an unimaginable loss.

On July 26, 2025, Kristie’s family was involved in a tragic accident in Hardin County, Texas. A collision between an 18-wheeler and a side-by-side vehicle claimed the lives of four cherished members of the Smart family. Otis, Melissa, Triston, and Terry Smart. A fifth family member, Kali Smart, remains in critical condition after multiple surgeries, fighting for her life.

As friends, loved ones, and members of her extended community, we are coming together to support Kristie in the wake of this heartbreaking event.

While there are no words that can truly ease such profound grief, we hope to lift some of the burdens she now faces.
