My mom, Kristi Stanley, has been fighting for her life in the ICU for the past two weeks. She’s battling a very dangerous infection, is on a ventilator, and has already undergone several surgeries. It’s been an incredibly difficult time for her and for all of us who love her so much.
Kristi is currently in a hospital in Springfield, which is a couple of hours away from all of her children. She’s going to be in the hospital for a long time, and we want to make sure she’s never alone during this fight. The funds raised will help her sons and daughters travel to be with her, cover our cost of living while we’re away from home, and help pay some of Kristi’s bills until she’s able to get assistance from the state. Since she won’t be able to work for a long time, every bit of support will make a huge difference for our family.
Anything you can give would be super helpful—even as much as a prayer. My mother is so strong and brave, but no one deserves to go through this alone. We want to be there with her every step of the way, and we appreciate anyone who can help—my mother would too. If you can’t donate, please just share and say a prayer for Kristi and our family. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
