Support for Kristen during her fight❤️

In June of this year, Kristen Dennis, a 38-year-old mother of two, received the news that the Stage 2 cancer she had beat three years prior had returned. After a plethora of scans and biopsies, it was determined that Kristen now has Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer. Over the next year, she will be in the care of specialists at Jefferson Hospital while undergoing 28 weeks of chemotherapy followed by a double mastectomy and a myriad of treatments to reduce and prevent the cancer from growing.

Kristen has been a dedicated Special Education Teacher, working in the Christina School District for the past 10 years. She loves her job and is passionate about teaching children with intellectual and physical disabilities. Unfortunately, while going through chemotherapy, she has to take a leave of absence from her position in order to avoid her immune system being compromised. Being as though she is a single mother of two, her income will dramatically decrease during this time of need. The amount of limited income she will receive will will be a financial strain/negative impact on her between caring for her two children, the cost of her health insurance and the surmounting deductibles and co-pays.

In these difficult times many are facing financially, prayers and positive vibes are just as much appreciated
