If I could rid the world of of one thing it would be cancer. Several years ago I lost my nephew, Rafa, to brain cancer, and now my family is fighting the same battle.

My oldest sister, Ana Veronica, has been living with her cancer diagnosis for several years, but she recently had a severe seizure and is now hospitalized fighting for her life.

Her children are by her side, but none of us are ready to let her go. This latest chapter has turned our world upside down, bringing with it not only emotional pain but also a heavy financial burden. We are not the type to ask for help, but in this situation we really need it as well as your prayers.

The journey ahead is uncertain but I would like to ease the stress on my nephews and neice so they can focus on her care and not the financial burden. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to them to help cover my sister’s medical expenses, including specialized care, and any additional support she may need during her fight against brain cancer.
