Support for Kris Richard’s Fight Against Lung Cancer

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out today to ask for your support on behalf of my cousin, Kris Richard, who has recently been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the lung. He is awaiting further testing to determine the full extent of his condition, but we are already aware that it has spread from his lungs to the lymph nodes in his neck. He will begin chemo on Monday. He is only 45 years old.

This news has been a devastating blow to Kris, his wife Roxanne, and all who love them. Anyone who knows Kris knows the kind of man he is—loyal, strong, and selfless. He’s always been someone others could lean on, and now it’s our turn to lean in for him.

As he begins a long and difficult journey through cancer treatment Kris & Rox face a lot of unknowns, which is further complicated by the strain of them living in Alaska and the majority of their support system living in NH. Roxanne, who has stood by his side through everything, is now not only his greatest support emotionally, but also physically. However, she has been out of work for weeks recovering from hip surgery. They are facing mounting costs for medical care, travel to treatment centers, and essential home expenses, all while managing the uncertainty of a serious illness.

This fundraiser is intended to ease the financial burden so Kris can focus on what matters most—healing and spending time with loved ones. Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting the Richards during this challenging time.
