On Monday, November 3, 2025, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when our cousin, Kon Euclid Whittaker Yusa, unexpectedly passed away.

2025年11月3日（月）、私たちの家族は想像もできない深い悲しみに包まれました。最愛のいとこ、カン・ユークリッド・ウィッタカー・ユサが突然この世を去ってしまったのです。

Our dear Kon-san was known for his quick humor, his natural talent and passion for baseball, and his kind heart.

私たちの大切なカンさんは、明るいユーモアのセンス、野球への情熱と才能、そして思いやりのある優しい心で知られていました。

He was also a master sushi chef and loved spending time with friends, always finding ways to bring laughter and warmth to those around him.

また、卓越したお寿司職人でもあり、友人たちと過ごす時間をこよなく愛していました。どんなときも周囲に笑顔と温かさを届ける存在でした。

Kon was especially close with his younger brother, Tai, who is a skilled BMX bike rider living in Okayama City, Japan.

カンは、岡山市に住むBMXライダーとして活躍する弟のタイと特に強い絆で結ばれていました。

Above all, Kon’s deep love for his mom shone in everything he did; in the way he cared for her, lifted her up, and stood by her without hesitation.

なによりも、お母様への深い愛情が彼のすべての行動に表れていました。いつもお母様を気遣い、支え、そばで守り続ける優しい息子でした。

Kon had a special bond with his loving father, Walter, and his twin sister (Kon’s Auntie), Ivy Helen, who live in Northern California.

また、北カリフォルニアに住むお父様のウォルター、そして双子の姉である**アイビー・ヘレン（カンの叔母）**とも特別な絆を持っていました。

Our family’s roots span continents, and our love for Kon is deeply felt across the miles.

私たちの家族のルーツは大陸を越えてつながっており、カンへの愛は距離を超えて深く感じられています。

We created this fundraiser to help cover the unexpected funeral expenses and to support Kon’s family during this incredibly difficult time.

この募金活動は、予期せぬ葬儀費用の負担を支援し、悲しみに包まれたカンのご家族を助けるために設立しました。

Donations will help bring Tai from Japan to attend the services and be together with family as we gather to celebrate Kon’s life and say our goodbyes.
