Help Support My Brother’s Recovery from Kidney Illness

We’re reaching out on behalf of my brother Kollin, a loving father of three, who has recently faced a terrifying and unexpected health crisis.

After struggling with a worsening headache, swollen eyes, and blurred vision, he went to the eye doctor who immediately sent him to the ER. Doctors quickly realized his blood pressure was dangerously high, and his kidneys were failing. He was transferred to Springfield and admitted to the ICU, where he spent several days undergoing tests and a kidney biopsy.

He has since been diagnosed with Membranous Glomerulonephritis (MGN)—a serious kidney condition that requires long-term treatment and close medical care. He is now out of the ICU, but the road to recovery will be long and challenging.

As a self-employed worker, he’s currently unable to work while managing this condition and recovering. This has put a huge financial strain on him, his partner, and their three young children.

We are hoping to raise funds to help cover:

• Mounting medical bills and ICU costs

• Medications and follow-up care

• Groceries and living expenses while he heals

My brother is one of the most hardworking, generous, and loving people I know. He never asks for help—but right now, we want to make sure he can focus on his health and being there for his family without the added burden of financial stress.
