My name is Christopher Williams. I’m the cousin of Daveon Williams who has recently lost his son Kohen. Kohen Wiley was a loving and playful one-year-old boy whose life was tragically cut short. He was shot by a police officer at Walmart in Senatobia, MS, leaving his father, Daveon Williams, devastated and searching for answers. Kohen brought so much joy to those around him, and his loss has left a void that can never be filled. His father is struggling to cope with this unimaginable tragedy and is seeking justice for his beloved son.

Your support will help the father honor Kohen’s memory, pay for certain funeral expenses such as a horse and carriage and burial which totals to about $5k that he will have to reimburse to the funeral home once these funds are received. A lot of generosity was shown and people have paid for casket and wrap, clothing for the body, cemetery equipment, and funeral home services. 

As we all know, burying your loved ones can be costly emotionally as well as monetarily. Although this won’t bring back their baby boy, this will help smooth the process and help them in their time of grief. The family asks for your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this heartbreaking loss, and they hope for justice to be served on behalf of Kohen.
I will initially receive the funds, then give them to Daveon. He will then use the funds towards funeral expenses and other needs such as court fees and lawyer fees.
